Gini Nelson\’s Engaging Conflicts

Gini Nelson’s Welcome

Hello, and welcome! The subtitle to my blog is “Science, Ethics, and Spirit In A High Conflict Practice.” I’ll do my best to explain and overview the relevance of science, and some of what the converging disciplines of neuroscience, evolutionary biology, cognitive psychology, and anthropology can tell us about conflict, about our business practices and business success, and spirit. These topics are big in people’s lives, and the new developments in science are important! Please share your ideas, and bring your friends and colleagues into the discussion — we will all benefit from the collaboration.

I’m a practicing attorney who lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico. After more than twenty years of practicing law, I’ve returned to some of my earlier passions (I did a master’s degree in sociology before law school). I also have a consulting, training, and coaching business giving busy people the information, tools and support they need to succeed in managing conflict in their personal and professional lives, and to succeed in business. Need training for an upcoming meeting, or advice and support for dealing with conflict? If so, let’s talk. Give me a call toll-free at 877.992.1900, or email me at

  1. Gini – I FINALLY had time to read your newsletter and skim your blog a bit.

Looks good, and I hope to do the Tuesday Cyber-ADR session you publicized.

Hope you are well – just very busy here.

  2. John, thank you! I know how demanding (and rewarding) your teaching, community and governmental projects are — I really appreciate your taking the time to read the newsletter. “See you” at the Cyber-ADR teleconference Tuesday…

  3. Wikipedia is the key to most success online, when it comes to collabritive content adding. I have spent many hours writing articles for Jimmy Wales and am very happy with this project. I am based in Seminole FL close to the wikipedia offices in St Petersburg. I love contributing!

    Happy New Year Bloggers!
